So, it's over. Again. I'm not his soul-mate...he doesn't want to settle...he's afraid he'll fall in love with me...he's afraid it'll ruin our friendship...blah-blah-blah. He's the one who started this damn extra stuff, he's the one who said we'd date...and now he's the one being a pansy and, out of an admitted fear of pain in the long run, refusing to date. Further, since we both realize being best friends and hanging out all the time + hooking up basically equals dating...now we're not hooking up anymore. So we're not sleeping together anymore. So we don't cuddle anymore.

So, I miss him.

Argh. I go through this at least once a week with my FWB. And lately, I just agree with him and let it go because I know he will change his mind, yet again, in 5-10 minutes. And he does. The day he stops changing his mind will be the day I stop missing him and move on to another.

Well, my FWB only tends to change his mind on this subject when we end up sleeping together (theoretically, platonic)...he's got much, much better self-control than I do, so unless we're already in bed for the night---nothing happens. Further, though he denies this made any diff., we started hooking up again after the last (and first) time he ended it right after I had a drunken hook-up with a mutual friend. Which actually helped me get over him and stop missing him...until he made a move. Damnable boy.
